IPL + PhotoFacial
ARE YOU BOTHERED BY CREPEY OR PATCHED SKIN AFTER YEARS OF UV-EXPOSURE?
IPL (Intense Pulsed Light), also known as a Photofacial, is a non-invasive procedure to correct superficial imperfections. Freckles, sun spots, rosacea, age spots, broken capillaries, and acne are no match for this revitalizing procedure. If you are looking for ways to achieve a clear, luminous complexion without any downtime, an IPL treatment might be the best treatment option for you.
HOW DOES IPL/PHOTOFACIAL WORK?
AM I A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR IPL/PHOTOFACIAL?
PHOTOFACIAL CAN HELP TREAT;
- FINE LINES
- SUN-DAMAGED SKIN
- ENLARGED PORES
- LIVER SPOTS
- ENLARGED BLOOD VESSELS
As you can expect with any procedure performed at Medspa Deluxe LA, the first step of your treatment is a comprehensive evaluation of your skin. This provides us with an opportunity to understand every aspect of your concerns and recommend the best treatment option for your skin and lifestyle. We deliver an unprecedented level of personalization in developing a results-oriented treatment plan for our patients, and we will work with you hand in hand to ensure an optimal result.
HOW LONG DOES A TYPICAL TREATMENT TAKE?
Prior to beginning the Photofacial, your practitioner will gently apply a cooling gel to the treatment area to protect your skin and ensure a painless experience (for our most sensitive patients, we offer anesthetic).
WHAT RESULTS WILL I SEE?*
Maximum benefits can be seen as collagen and elastin levels are restored over the course of 3-5 months. Many patients require a series of treatments spaced 1-month apart to achieve an optimal outcome. Once you’ve met your initial goals, single maintenance treatment can be done as needed to prolong the effects of your Photofacial series.
IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME?
Side effects are minimal and short-lived but can include slight redness, swelling, or peeling. The majority of side effects can be managed with mineral-based makeup during the first several days following treatment.
